About Rare Breed

I was 14 when my grandpa came home with a herd of wild buffalo. I thought I understood how to keep livestock, but these 8 beasts turned my world upside down. Buffalo are not like cattle, sheep, or horses. They have an ancient sprit that demands an elevated level of respect. If a fence isn’t perfectly installed, watch out. Because you’re going to have a fuzzy wrecking ball causing havoc, possibly in the next county over.

This taught me to always do things the right way, the first time. Like buffalo, water isn’t a force to be taken lightly. One careless decision or “hack” can cause detrimental floods. No one can afford to take short cuts with such a powerful force. And at Rare Breed we never cut corners.
