Frequently Asked Questions
Can the Trenchless Method Fix All the Sewer Damage?
In many cases, yes. Trenchless sewer repair can handle everything from cracks and corrosion to moderate collapses and root intrusion. However, if your pipe has completely caved in or is misaligned due to shifting soil, traditional repair might be the better option. That’s why a sewer line inspection is always the first step, we want to make sure we’re recommending the right solution for your property. If trenchless is possible, we’ll make it work. If not, we’re equipped for traditional repair too.
Do I Need to Vacate My Home During the Trenchless Pipe Repair Process?
Not at all. In most cases, you can stay in your home while we complete the repair. The process is quiet, contained, and minimally disruptive, and our technicians work efficiently to keep your routine intact. We’ll let you know if water usage needs to be paused temporarily, but it’s usually only for a few hours.
Can the Trenchless Method Be Used on Older Pipes?
Yes, trenchless sewer line repair works well on older systems, especially those made from clay or cast iron. As long as the existing pipe has enough structure to support a liner—or if we can access both ends for pipe bursting—we can usually complete the repair without excavation. Age doesn’t necessarily rule out trenchless, but condition matters, which is why inspection is so important.
How Soon Can I Use My Plumbing After Trenchless Sewer Repair?
Most of the time, you’ll be back up and running the same day. Once the new pipe or liner is in place and fully cured, we’ll test the flow and confirm everything is working. After that, you’re good to go—no waiting days for concrete to set or trenches to be filled.
