Continuing Our Rebranding Journey

Rebranding has been the most expensive, stressful, decision my wife and I have made for the company. So why did we do it?

Rare Breed Plumbing had amazing reviews and reputation. So, we are not hiding anything. Many people assume we rebranded because we sold out or we are positioning to sell.

Nothing could be further from the truth we have not sold, and we can’t be bought!

So why do it?

Because I truly believe WE are building something special.

Our Rare Breed Vision

We have amazing leaders/ future leaders here. My position has shifted. I am now entirely in sales. But not plumbing sales. As owner its entirely on me to sell the vision. WHY are we different? Many places only focus on what do we do differently. But if your plumbing is fixed at the end of the day that’s all the same. The difference is how did you feel during the process, and WHY that is what has always impressed our customers and driven our reviews and referrals.

• We are Empathetic not sympathetic to your real issues.
• We are trustworthy because our integrity means more to us than anything.
• We are accountable when we mess up, and we do mess up.
• We are learners and educators, because we have a noble trade that needs to live on.

And all these things are why we are a Rare find.

Sure, a contractor returning your call is rare now days but that’s WHAT we do. Why we do it sees your project through to the best outcome.

I have watched a division in the industry. Unintentionally, employees have become a number. And customers have become a dollar sign. That needs to stop. And we can stop it.

I believe you can accomplish anything you want in life, if you don’t care who gets the credit. And I don’t want my last name on what we build together. WE are a Rare Breed, and WE are going to change the world.

Ask any of my team why they work here, and you will hear a hundred different reasons all pointing back to the same thing. Because they are valued here, because they are heard. Ask any of our customers why the use us and you will hear the same thing. The why is everything.

Why does our team go the extra mile? Because they know they are building something special here.

We are a premium service. Not because of our name, logo, or WHAT we do. We area a premium service because of WHY we do it.

And that is why WE are Rare Breed. And why I changed it to Rare Breed plumbing so we could more consistently and clearly convey the vision to our internal and external customers. That Why we do what we do makes all the difference.
